JEHS + LAUB
Jürgen Laub, born in 1964, and Markus Jehs, born in 1965, are both industrial designers. They met during the academic studies of industrial design at 'Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwaebisch Gmuend' and became friends after an internship in New York in 1990. They graduated in 1992 and two years later decided to work together by founding the study 'Jehs + Laub'. In this way they began designing furnishing accessories and lamps for some of the most famous Italian brands such as Cassina, Ycami and Nemo and, year after year, collaborations with international brands such as: Thonet, Fritz Hansen, Belux, Renz, Stelton, Fambuena, Schoenbuch , Cor and MDF Italia. For Mercedes-Benz they have developed the concept for showrooms around the world, numerous interior design projects and events such as the 'suite 606' in the famous Icehotel in Sweden. The 'Jehs + Laub' studio has been honored with numerous international awards and prizes, their products have been exhibited at numerous events and they are invited to attend conferences all over the world.
