ANTÔNIO CITÉRIO
Nascido em Meda em 1950, Antonio Citterio formou-se no Politécnico de Milão em 1975. Iniciou uma série de importantes cooperações no campo do design industrial em 1972, trabalhando para marcas como Ansorg, Arclinea, Axor-Hansgrohe, B&B Italia, Flexform, Flos, Fusital, Hermès, Iittala, Kartell, Maxalto, Sanitec Group, Technogym, Tre Più e B&B Italia, onde inventou e coordenou a marca Vitra. Recebeu diversas premiações, como o Compasso d’Oro em 1987 e em 1995 e algumas de suas obras estão expostas em museus mundialmente famosos, como o MoMA de Nova York e o Centre Georges Pompidou de Paris. Em 1999 fundou a sociedade "Antonio Citterio & Partners" juntamente com Patricia Viel, um estúdio que trabalha a nível internacional. Além de designer, Antonio Citterio também é professor em muitos institutos.
